Taking Daisy's photos for her Quince was such an amazing experience and I loved everything about her and her dress. She looked stunning and was one of the most gorgeous fifteen year old girls I've seen. I was so happy because I got this referral from an old friend and client from over 2 years ago to do this photo shoot from when I used to live in NC. The best part was that I got to do this photo shoot and visit my family in NC at the same time! Daisy looked like a princess and if you don't believe me here is a picture of some kids who were visiting the park (Duke Gardens, Durham, NC). They fell in love with her and thought she was a princess from Disney Land. They all wanted to get pictures taken with her.
I wanted to explained what a Quinceañera is for those of you who are not familiar with this Latino tradition. And the best explanation I found was on Wikipedia and this is what it says:
Quinceañera (lit. meaning One (f.) who is fifteen), sometimes called Fiesta de Quince Años, Fiesta de Quinceañera,Quince Años or simply Quince, is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of people from Latin America. This birthday is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood.[1] The celebration, however, varies significantly across countries, with celebrations in some countries taking on, for example, more religious overtones than in others.

I'm very happy to be able to share one of the traditions that I grew up with in Honduras (my native country). I hope you enjoy the photos and if you would like to read more about quinceañeras click on the link above.
